The Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Company of Pilgrims

The business portion of the Annual General Meeting will take up to one hour. Directly following the business meeting, you are invited to remain for a presentation by our special guest – Rob Fennell. Rob is the founding director of Camino Nova Scotia, a local pilgrimage project that has welcomed hundreds of pilgrims since 2014. He is also Professor of Historical and Systematic Theology and former Academic Dean of the Atlantic School of Theology in Halifax, and an ordained minister of The United Church of Canada. His most recent books include Camino Close to Home, and 31 Short Spiritual Practices. Rob likes nothing better than hitting the trail with walking companions. He will present a talk entitled “When Walking Turns Spiritual.” As Rob reminds us, we go on pilgrimage for many reasons. Sometimes we begin with a spiritual purpose; other times the spiritual experiences find us when we least expect them. His talk will encourage pilgrims to simply welcome those moments without the need to analyze them.

In order to attend the AGM you must be a paid up Annual or Lifetime member of the CCoP as of midnight, March 27, 2026.
