Where:  Start and Finish at  Graystone Brewing, 221 King St., Fredericton

Please RSVP if you plan to attend and share with your friends!

Last year, we had a great and well represented pilgrim walk to celebrate the Day of St. James. With that in mind, we are hoping that you can join us for a walk along the river, on Wednesday, July 25th to mark the occasion.

We will be walking from Graystone Brewing on King St. towards the Green and back (walk for 40-45 mis and turnaround). Join us for a “Cañita” (small glass of beer) afterwards and Camino chit chat.  We are planning to be back no later than 8:30pm.

Wear comfortable shoes and bring your poles or backpacks if you want 😉

Really hope to see you there!

Weekly Walks
Local pilgrims lead practice walks on Sundays and occasionally Saturdays from mid-January through October, rain or shine, at various locations around the Lower Mainland.  These are a great way to prepare for the Camino, enjoy the company of and learn from fellow pilgrims, and explore our beautiful region.  Everyone is welcome.
Our walks vary in distance from 10-18 km.  Whenever possible, our longer walks include shorter alternatives.   In general, our Sunday walks also include post-walk refreshments wherever we find ourselves.

Celebrating Saint James Day with a walk!

What could be better for pilgrims and prospective pilgrims? We hope you will join us at Elk Lake on July 21st. The first walk will start at 8am and another will start at 10am. And then we will all sit together and enjoy a picnic lunch. You will be receiving a reminder for time, directions, etc. on July 14th, but for now, please mark the date on your calendar and think about whether you want to walk 10 or 20km that day. This is a great opportunity for prospective pilgrims to talk to those who have walked many different routes.
